GRENSTA: (Perfect Driver Music) With releases on Mass Records, Perfect Driver,, House Of Hustle and more to come, 2015 is proving to be a big year for Grensta… Ryan Grennan, known as Grensta, began his early dj career in college playing the biggest parties at Chico State. His sound and style evolved into a hybrid of dirty bass with a dash of soulful house when he integrated back into the San Francisco music scene. Winning Discovery Project Beyond Wonderland 2015 was a big moment for this young artists career. INFLUENCE: Influence started his piratical career in a time called Ye Olden School. Quickly rising through ranks of deck swabbing, plank laying, wenching, & rumming; his golden years came to end upon the capture of his ship by a band of jolly rogers on the ship Strategik (they were good with a cannon, but not so much with spelling). Locked away in the ship’s depths, every night he was told, “Good night, Westley. Good work. Sleep well. I’ll most likely kill you in the morning.” All seemed lost, so he got into Djing, took over the ship, called himself Influence, and the rest was basically, history… basically. web / fb / sc

Oh, and I also play Duran Duran.” When was it decided that any jerk with 10 records (or 100 MP3s and Serato) is a DJ, and when was it decided that just being a good old-fashioned hip-hop DJ is passé? web / fb / tw / sc

DJ DIALS: I’ve been djing for over 14 years! I’ve done pretty much every aspect of DJING from playing in weird other countries to celebrity weddings, barmitzvahs, and clubs of all different shapes and sizes. I play appropriate music for any occasion, meaning I am not too proud to play some tear out dubstep, throwback electro, or some 90’s rap shit. My personal music tastes does shine and I pride myself as being a tastemaker- so expect the best- no shitty music from this guy. I have been writing and producing music for a very long and my first 12′ record was released on Brownswood Electr*c Volume 2- Giles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings. I have hundreds of beats that will never see the light of day, mostly downtempo and the occasionally syrup dripped rap jawn. My album will come when it comes, I am not tripping and you should be. I live in San Francisco and I throw parties- tastemaker shows. I try to challenge the audience and have a fun time doing it… I want to do memorable parties with good music. It’s hard.
