The Polish Ambassador always raises the bar for his appearances, but the world’s funkiest diplomat is also using his popularity to steer the millennial generation toward a nourishing and sustainable way of relating with art, community and the planet. Expect to be taken on a masterfully crafted and evocative journey mixing old and new into an auditory canvas that will spark nostalgia, titillate your senses, and make you drop that bottom like it was ‘92…3092. He will be playing before Moby’s headlining set on Saturday night.
The Purple Disco Machine comes straight out of Dresden with his conceptions of his deep funk branded disco house that has propelled him to international heights. With an already expanding career from his domination of the charts as well as his live shows, his acclaim as gotten him working with artists such as Gorillaz, Jamiroquai, Two Door Cinema Club, New Order, Claptone, Faithless, Juan MacLean, Annabel Englund, Alex Metric, Shapeshifter, Hercules & Love Affair and Blonde just to name a few. He will follow Fatboy Slim and close the main stage on Friday night.
US breakbeat superstars Fort Knox Five and QDup will precede Fatboy Slim on the main stage on Friday night. They’ve worked with some of the greatest ever, including Afrika Bambaataa, A.Skillz and Krafty Kuts, Kraak & Smaak, Ursula 1000, as Tito Puente, Joe Quarterman, and Bob Marley, cementing their deep musical roots. We can’t wait to hear those seamless interwoven funky electronic breakbeats.
Mason Bates was recently named the most-performed composer of his generation, serving as the first composer-in-residence of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. His music enlivens imaginative narrative forms with novel orchestral writing, the harmonies of jazz and the rhythms of techno, and it has been the first symphonic music to receive widespread acceptance for its unique integration of electronic sounds. As both a DJ and a curator, he has become a visible advocate for bringing new music to new spaces which transforms spaces ranging from commercial clubs to Frank Gehry-designed concert halls.
2TIGHT is a fresh new collaboration that seamlessly weaves Annie Dolly’s relentlessly raw raps into Lou E. Bagels’ party rocking DJ sets. Lou E. Bagels is a lover of music, a multi-genre party rocker with cutting edge taste and a fond love of the classics. With over ten years of experience in DJing and countless mind blowing sets from Burning Man, Shambhala, Coachella, EDC and Lightning in a Bottle, it’s no wonder that Bagels has become a legend in the Los Angeles underground scene. And with Annie Dolly, who is a mix between your favorite pop princess with some gangsta juice added on top, we can’t wait for the funk & dance!
Made up of Frank Cueto and Rusty Belicek, the All Good Funk Alliance has opened up for legendary artists and DJs, written songs for commercials , T.V. and movies and constantly appear on the Breakspoll Top 50 list. In other words, these guys are no strangers to the funk. And while their musical tastes range the gamut, when Frank and Rusty join forces the end result is always the same: they deliver a sound that is funky, fun and fresh.

If you have had your mind blown at an event in San Francisco in the last 7 years, chances are it happened at one of Mad Dog’s immersive experiences. As Art Director to many of San Francisco’s most spectacular themed parties, including the illustrious Edwardian Ball and Vau de Vire Society, Mad Dog joins the LoveBoat Halloween team to bring his unique blend of madness to our event.
Peter Hudson, aka Hudzo, is a self described autodidact; a San Francisco visual artist who channels his technical and set design experience, childlike curiosity, and creative passion into life-size stroboscopic zoetropes. He has received several grants along the way as he has developed the art of his large scale zoetropes as well as worked on films such as Milk.
Drift has evolved from a core group of artists and builders who have been realizing Big Dreams for decades through festivals such as Burning Man and Symbiosis. Building large-scale, interactive pieces that mimic shapes and lines seen only deep in nature, their sculptures and art often involve interactive features when possible. They do what we can to gather resources from nature, and with the support of their community, they realize their dreams to bring magical floating wonderlands to every installation.
Juanita MORE! is a denizen of the limelight. For over two and a half decades, the tireless hostess has blitzed San Francisco with high glamour, drag irreverence, danceable beats, culinary delectables and a philanthropic heart that has illuminated the entire city. She travels San Francisco by day with her trusty sidekick French Bulldog Jackson and at night with a bevy of the cities most handsome boys.
